Nah, the mist here is lovely and soft and benign. And full of birds chirping and calling. No 100 year old evil forces in this mist. ;D

I have actually. Rotting leaf mould, check. Spiders, check. Here are a few from my morning walks: Orbweavers Huntsmen St. Andrew Cross spiders Leaf curling spiders Wolf spiders I walk through the bush with my elbows bent and my arms up in front of my face. It's a well known Australian bush gesture, like the Oz salute that is designed to swipe away the gazillions of flies that are attracted to anything warm-blooded. And then I've also checked out the birds: The Rufous Scrub-bird And any number of King Parrots Sulphur-crested cockatoos Crimson rosellas. Magpies And yellow-tailed black cockatoos But no rotting lepers. ;D

Is a doona a bird? I like the king parrots.

A doona is a duvet. I forgot to give the other, non-Oz name. They are filled with goose down and are brilliantly warm and soft, like the eiderdown I had as a kidlet.

OOooh, look at that rosella! And that Bwilliant parrot! The spidurs, eeek, not so much, although the wolf spidur could pass for a rotting nasty. I love quilts although my toes always peek out at the bottom.

Yes, what is it about quilts that they are always short. Even though I'm only 5'2'', they never seem to be the full length. And Wombat, who is 6', always has a big gap at the foot end.
