THE WOMAN IN BLACK starring Daniel Radcliffe! Woohooo! Great Victorian ghostliness. Isnt it weird how old neglected toys creep us out?

Hmm, somehow, that trailer doesn't tempt me to watch any more of it. Young Radcliffe's looking suitably Heathclifffey though.

I went to the World Premiere of Johnny English Reborn yesterday. We got to see Rowan Atkinson, Gillian Anderson and Rosamund Pike from less than 10 feet away. It was probably a hugely tedious task, signing autographs and chatting to news casters and fans for a couple of hours on the red carpet, but they showed no strain or impatience. They were all just lovely. Rowan Atkinson was still nursing his right shoulder after a nasty car crash a month ago. The film is utterly hysterical.

I loved that film. I was amazed that there was not a single mention in our major morning broadsheet of the opening of Johnny English Reborn. Am I the only one who gets the humour? The audiences in two theatres were killing themselves. Is it just too infra dig for reviewers to say they like Rowan Atkinson?

I imagine Oztralian critics are too *hip* for MI5 spooftacles. No one here cares either -- instead, critics are salivating over TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY which I hope brings Gary Oldman GREAT SUCCESS! Like a BAFTA or an OSCAR nom! He's due, people!

Why did that one guy spit in the other guy's mouth? Why do they have so much hair? I don't like body hair. Hmm.. that trailer was very interesting and informative.
