Why did Harry Potter gets an award? I'm watching the Baftas now. Jessica Alba was sexy and who was that girl with the cleavage that presented with the facebook kid? Who is the presenter? Is he a famous comedian?

HARRY POOTER got an Award for Cinematic Achievement in Making Gobs of Money for the British Empire! However I do nots remember the girl next to Jesse Eisenberg. After a while, all cleavages begin to look alike.

I saw The King's Speech finally, tonight. However, since I have piles of essays to mark (Summer School), I'll just say for the moment that it was a tour de force on all levels. I loved it. Loved Colin, Helena, Geoffrey, TIMOTHY SPALL!!!! and what was the reason Jennifer Ehle got to play the Aussie wife while Guy Pearce got to play King Edward? That was probably the only weird part. Lionel's little audition for Richard III was a hoot. I loved the scraped off wallpaper and Lionel's tricks with the swearing and the throne in Westminster Abbey.
I wonder if Her Majesty approves of the rendition of her papa? (And The Firm.)

Im sure Jennifer EHle wuz stunt casting (wow, Lizzy & Mr Darcy!) and so wuz Derek Jacobi (most famous stutterer of Ancient Rome!) I thought it wuz pretty hilarious when Lionel Logue introduced his wife to the King, starting off with *I dont believe youve met before.* Hahahah! However, I thought Timothy Spall wandered in from another movie, wid all that jowl shaking. WHuts wrong wid using the quintessential Churchill, Robert Hardy? F word! F word? FORNICATION?

All these dudesare English actors so theyre not terribly famous in Americar! Robert Hardy, English actor, plays Churchill a lot. I think he is also in Harry Potter as the head guy in the Ministry of Magic. He should have been CHurchill in KINGS SPEECH, imo. Jennifer Ehle famously played Colin Firths love interest Lizzy in PRIDE and PREJUDICE.

And Guy Pearce famously played a queen in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - so it's logical that he get to play a king. ;D
I actually thought Timothy Spall channelled Churchill rather well.
