After perusing the Wilds of Amazonia, I haf added to my list of WANTED books ... NOTHING writtun by that boob CHristopher Hitchens A new cultural history of ROME by the catankerous Poztralian Robert Hughes, I forgot the title. Its about ROME anyway. HONOURABLE ENGLISHMAN, a biography of the historian Hugh Trevor Roper, who ruined his reputation by endorsing the fakey Hitlur Diaries. Idjoot. But aside from that, he wuz an interesting erudite sophisticated man who had so many interests that he wuz never able to focuz on one subject. Kinda like Sophisteecated PLite actually. Except I KNOW Hitlur didnt leave any diaries. Dumbass.

Well Tyler wanted me to cook oxtail and tongue he gave me a recipe today. I'm not planning to cook either, but I like recipe books for new ideas and inspirations for what to make. Yup I get new ideas from the internet too, but books are nice only the ones that include photos though!

Oh! This is oxtail! I've seen it at the supermarket before. I thought it was some kind of spinal chord meat or something.

After transporting thousands of books in a score of vanloads, Wombat is very glad I'm giving him a Kindle for Christmas, so we don't add to our physical library, just our virtual one.
He might get me another Neal Stephenson.

The pissy outdoor cats are still at the old house, awaiting the ginormous cat enclosure I will be building them as soon as we've done the final inspection.
Leah the timid has been hiding out in one of the capacious built-in wardrobes at the new house for a few days now. Except for night-time, when she keeps us awake with piteous meowing and sudden ambushes on to our bed.

Well, as long as Leah the Bald doesnt pee on your wellies, I guess its hokay.
A cat enclosure? Why? I dont think theyll like it.

Because they're outdoor cats, they will just take off trying to find their familiar territory. So, I'm building them a temporary cat enclosure so they get more used to this location. Later we'll let them out and hope they'll stay.

Put them in hamster balls for safe keeping, like this.
