Damn. One wrong!
We've talked about a date but that's all we've done. Maybe 21st September, which is the spring equinox in this neck of the woods.
I'm pretty sure female wombats have hairy noses if they're Eastern Hairy Nose Wombats. Wombat has a t-shirt that says there are only 113 left. He bought that a while ago. Maybe there are only three left by now!

I just came back from boxing. I love my boxing class.
100 straights! 100 hooks! 100 uppercuts! 100 up high! 100 pistons (that's when the partner with the gloves sits on the floor and the one with the mits stands behind her and the one with the gloves bashes hell out of the mits held head height above her).
Felllllliiiiiinnnnngggg grrrrreeeeeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My gym does not allow kicking for some reason to do with spurious lawsuits. I love kicking. My trainer sometimes surruptitiously allows me to kick!@#$23!@#$%^&*()_ out of the pads. WoooHoooo!

Is that to protect yourself from the ninja kangaroos that attack you in your home?

Pacquiao Fan? Actually I hate watching boxing matches. Almost as much as bullfights. I know Pacquiao is an amazing champion but that's about it. I just love bashing hell out of bags and pads and the mitts my partner wears. Wombat tells me this actually happened. I wonder if it's like bears in Canada? The retaliation of the wild on syphilisation?

Posted this originally on retirement thread, aut as you said, it wuz getting out of topic ... So do you get paid by the hour? Are your rates dependent on the severity of the clients problem or the length of their blabbity bla bla bla? Haf you ever given up on a client? Has a client actually become worse becuz of your suggestions? IS EVERYTHING ABOUT SEX or MONEY?

Yep, good, I was about to do the same.
My sessions are paid by the hour at a flat rate. I can exercise a little discretion for students, the unwaged or partially waged, or for clients who travel interstate or from overseas every month for bulk sessions (a surprising number of people do this!).
Given up on a client - hmm, it's usually the client who gives up when it gets too confronting or their defences become too highly charged. Sometimes people need to feel what they have been suppressing for decades, simply because it comes out anyway in health and relationship issues. In such cases, feeling what you've been avoiding can be intense for a bit, but it does improve the more people can let themselves experience uncomfortable feelings and then let them go.
Sex or money - no, not really. Mostly it's about low self-esteem, insecurity and lack of confidence, grief, sadness, anxiety, phobias, depression, oppression, substance abuse, having survived abuse of various kinds. A poor sense of Self is at the bottom of most problems - at least the ones my clients present with.

I have a few clients who pick up my book at the airport and then come back from NZ, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, or the South Pacific to have sessions with me because their local therapists haven't written a book like mine. So, not exactly famous. A tiny niche market. No one famous that I will reveal!
Dexter is the psychopath we'd all like to be, avenging the innocent and detached enough to kill the guilty. No real psychopath is so enviable. That kind of pathology is born in terror and desolation.

Fr Lawrence:
For nought so vile that on the earth doth live But to the earth some special good doth give. Nor aught so good that strain’d from that fair use Revolts from true birth, stumbling on abuse: Virtue itself turns vice, being misapplied And vice sometimes by action dignified. Romeo and Juliet.
Methinks this applies to Dexter.

Still dont get it -- Dex wuz found in a cargo container covered wid blood, but he wuz only a baby! How could he remember anything? ALso, his policeman dad adopted him & his sis, he raised them well; they werent abused, and yet Dex still becomes a stone cold killer. Something wonky there.

It's about attachment to the parent, long before babies become verbal or understand what is going on.
His mother was a prostitute, being abused on a regular basis, perhaps with a substance abuse problem when he and his brother were in utero. These things affect infants even in the womb. If the mother was not emotionally healthy, she would pass on her insecurities to her children in various unconscious but unhelpful ways. Then there was the trauma of her death.
You might understand the theory behind it if you read my next book!

Wow someone just asked if I was Australian! Now that is a new one. I was outside with my little doggie walking in the yard and two tourists stopped to ask how to get downtown. Its not too uncommon for tourists to stop and ask for directions, since we live so close to the ferry terminal. Maybe its the naturally occurring blonde highlights in my hair that I get in the summer sun, that made them think it..Interesting..
