Nooooo! No internut! No cable! No flitchies of bacon! Just cuttlefish toothpaste. Eck. PS. Englishman Mark Boyle just wrote a book called THE MONEYLESS MAN but he is donating most of the proceeds to charity. The remainder will go, I believe, to buying more land on which to establish a *money-less* community. Ooof.

Mark Boyle makes nettle tea. Since I dislike tea, I dont think I'll ever drink this even if he puts 6 packs of sugar innit. But Ive had nettle soup and it wasnt bad.

Impressive.
At various periods of my life, for a month or so at a time, I've lived alone in the bush like this, usually to meditate. Without piped water, a toilet, electricity, telephone, computer, radio or TV, life becomes very simple and adapted to the weather and the seasons. Nevertheless, I did have coffee, eggs, fruit, dried and canned food.

Whut time do you go to sleep? It must be very early when youre alone in the bush. When we were visiting my mums old house in the Philippine countryside, the electricity wuz very spotty, and the oil lamps were so DIM that I thought ghosties hid in every corner. So I wuz in bed by 8 and I always shared a room wid my parents!

Yes, if candles are expensive, you tend to go to bed shortly after the sun. Of course, I used a ring of lit candles around my sleeping bag to keep away the humungous rats.
