What are those modern houses and buildings and stuff doing in Oz? They can do anything with CGI these days.
I think you should write a book about a mom who loses her baby to a dingo and chases it across country. Midway into it she loses their tracks and he's gone forever, but then, years later, her single prop plane crashes in the bush and she is saved by a feral boy. She tries to take him home and love him but realizes he belongs in the bush now and she let's him go. It's very sad at the end.

It's true, the wonders of CGI technology show unbelievable modernity where no-one woulda thunkit.
We actually have buildings with solid walls now. You can see them everywhere! And there's one down in our actual street with, like, TWO storeys!
Of course, I'm only able to read of your amazement on the computer screen due to the Time Machine I invented at the turn of the century, which allows me to slip into a time warp and post it retroactively in this primitive part of the world.

Watched most of Doubt on cable last night. I really like Meryl Streep's acting. She's awesome. The movie brought back a lot of memories for me. All of them good btw. Too much paint on the windows, the little uniforms we used to wear, the no nonsense principal and the kind young nun.
The movie itself left me feeling like the book was probably much better. The movie lacked tension and suspense and it was too short. Mostly they just yelled at each other. Also, the cast was so talented and Streep outshone them all. I was expecting more from the rest of the cast.
I didn't watch the entire movie. I came in just as the priest was being accused. Does this forum have spoilers?

You can write spoilers in beige and people can highlight it if they want to see it.
Like this:
->hello, I am a spoiler test
See it?

Re: Doubt: I really hated the character Streep played so much it tainted my appreciation of the film, though of course, it was excellently done both in the acting and as an example of how suspicion and uncertainty can cause wrongful accusations.

How do you know she was wrong? I think the priest was gay and he and the boy related to each other. That was the secret the priest wouldn't reveal.

If white was one of your colours, it would be indetectable. Then you could write all sorts of indetectable things about people and they'd never know.
