Rabbits missed your cucumbers! How many tomato plants do you have? They really should haf lots of fruit by now, from the size of them. Perhaps they need pollination or something. Your soil looks kinda dry. But then Im one of those who always wants to haf the soil all moist & sticky, which is why Pigsnit always scolds me for overwatering! Your onions are trying to immigrate to Toronto! Your gardens so PRETTY! Really, I can barely tell rabbits haf been having a feast!

Oh those things, those are one of my dad's favorite plants. I can't remember what they are called. They are suppose to be annuals but here, they never die in this climate.

Thanks P-Lite. Yeah the tomatoes probably do need pollination. I don't know why the bees have been avoiding them this year..

Sunfrog we did eat many of the onions, but the rabbits also ate many of them. They aren't suppose to eat onions according to the internet but they do! They seem to love herbs as much as anything else.

I just dug up a very weathered American quarter from the garden. It looks really old but I can't find the year on it. I wonder if it's worth anything. Probably too weathered..

Upon closer examination looks like it's from 1966

Give it to Tyler. He'll put it in his bank account.

Today I bought a bag of fish compost, as well as a bag of soil made from kelp. I spread it around the yard to fertilize some of my favorite plants. Tomorrow when it's watering day, I moisten it with a good watering.
In other news some of the bunnies have returned! They don't seem to sleep here any more. They just come for a few hours at a time, to nibble the vegetation.

Do you mind that they nibble?

Nope, I enjoy watching them. They are such cute little creatures.
They don't just nibble though, sometimes they just sprawl out in the grass or brush and relax (kind of like Sasha sun tans) I think rabbits might do that too. Sometimes they do it under a tall shrub like our very large camellia when its hot out.

The moma rabbit is back in the garden. I saw her yesterday hopping around the yard. She looked rather large so I'm thinking she is going to give birth again soon. Unfortunately for her, once her baby rabbits left the nest my dad unclosed the bottom of the patio (that use to be open) so that the rabbits can't have babies there any more (he was worried we would get multiple generations of rabbits living in our yard).

Yesterday I harvested my first zucchini. it's medium sized. I haven't made anything with it yet. A few days ago I picked the first ripe tomato. I gave it to my dad (since I don't like tomatoes that much and he loves them).
