Cute film. I don't plan to close off the borrow, and I'm sure my mom won't but my dad is the only one who might. He can't be stopped very easily sometimes not at all when he gets an idea in his head. So far the burrows are still open though.

My dad is insane, (I actually have many reasons for thinking this) he sprayed water down the rabbit hole then covered it in dirt (the one close to the house). He has many other issues. OCD like you won't believe (no a doctor hasn't told him that but it's pretty evident, among issues with paranoia). He was really bad with his paranoia in the winter time until he talked to a psychic and it really scared him and he started to change his whole life (changes like going to visit the elderly at a nursing home and things). All of the things he changed are back to the way they were before the psychic discussion (except he still goes to the nursing home to visit). I think he needs to talk to the psychic again since that is really the only treatment he would be willing to do (although he doesn't think he has any mental health issues).

Sorry to hear this, Shoey.
There are a couple of psychics who are also authors with the same publisher as me, whom I've met at publisher events etc. They often refer clients to me. What I've noticed is that almost without exception these clients don't want to work on their issues - if they even recognise they have any issues. They just want to be told what to do and what to believe. So after one session (at which they complain I gave them no advice or information, but simply listen and reflect on what they've said) they don't return.

Your da poured water down the burrow to either drown the bunnies or to flush them out like poops in the sewer. That actually makes sense in a kind of mean way.
Whut did the psychic say to him? And whuts wrong wid visiting nursing homes?

I thought of the water thing but I didn't type it because it's mean and what if the baby bunnies couldn't swim. Can rabbits swim? I hope they had an escape hatch somewhere. My mom does the ocd thing too but not much. She gets fixated on one thing and won't let it go. At the moment she is trying to get me to fix my car, which is broken. I don't know how to fix it or else I would. I don't know what's wrong with it other than it seems to be electrical.

I hope they had an escape route too! I really hope those rabbits out smart my dad. Although that is assuming that there were baby bunnies in the burrow. It is also possible that they dug the burrow as a home for the winter. Not sure. Either way not too pleased that its closed now. I wonder if rabbits can dig from under ground (if there were any babies in there).
Nothing is wrong with visiting nursing homes. It was the only positive change my dad made that he was able to maintain without reverting back to his old, negative paranoid ways.
For over a year my dad was paranoid that multiple neighbors were watching him. Granted the paranoia stems from a real event (when the neighbors tried to sue my parents for putting a fence they believed to be in the wrong spot regarding the property line, the fence was in the correct spot by the way. For over a year my dad was very paranoid about that goings on next door and across the street. The next door neighbors (the owners were into drugs we could smell it) anyways they moved and rented out their own home. To more neighbors that were not your typical working crowd. They were constantly on their patio seemly watching us or anyone who walked by (it didn't bother me though). They too appeared to have a grow op.
Anyways that is where my dad's paranoia came from. However they moved out and the house was vacant for months. During which time my dad took up his old hobby of gardening (he didn't garden at all during the time when the other neighbors were there). then he discovered the rabbits and that they eat his garden and he wasn't happy.

Onions repel rabbits and can be inter-planted with peas, beans, lettuce and cabbage.

The baby bunnies that were here in the spring ate soooo many of our green onions! I know according to the internet they don't eat onions, but in real life they do!
They seem to have personal food preferences just like people. Each has their favorite plant food.

Nope, I didn't mind them eating anything. As far as I'm concerned the garden is their buffet.

I picked my pumpkin today! It's the perfect little pumpkin. It probably weighs about 7 or 8 lbs. It would make a cute jack-o-lanturn but we don't get any trick or treaters here, so we usually don't bother to carve a pumpkin. It will get cut up and frozen for future baked delights (such as pies and muffins).
