We have baby bunnies again! It's only February! These rabbits are crazy having their babies so early. This time it's a white bunny(s). I have only seen one baby which is unusual but maybe it's because its so early in the year that they just had one. The suspect parent bunnies are not that big and never were so no one would have expected one of them would have bunnies.
This times the babies are for sure in a rabbit hole in the backyard. My dad doesn't know about them or their hole yet, so I'm hoping they are big enough to live out of the hole before he finds them.

Maybe you should feed them lettuce & carrots so they will grow faster & leave earlier before your father exterminates the little cuties. OR you can sit in front of the rabbit hole wid a shotgun.

The rabbit hole got covered not sure if my dad did it or not. There was a cat stalking it this morning when I discovered it was covered. I threw a rock beside the cat to try to scare it and it came up to me walking between my legs and purred. I was angry, the nerve of the cat who might have been the one to cover the rabbit hole (in dirt). I don't know who did it, but the cat certainly could have been guilty.

So did you uncover the hole & whisper, Here buny bunny bunny ...?
I don't think cats cover large holes wid dirt unless they pee or poo innit.

The cat was back today, I just saw it, but I wasn't outside so I didn't follow it. I'm sure even it it wasn't the cat who covered the hole the cat would have eaten the bunny (since I have seen it with my own eyes before last summer).

People's pet cats eat bunnies Anyways I did my run this morning and I went to check on the hole and it was open again! I don't know if the cat I saw this morning opened it or the parent rabbits opened it, but it's interesting to watch the drama in the animal kingdom

Hey everyone I was taking my little dog out for a pee this morning when I spotted this flower bulb about to open. I haven't ever seen a spring flower like this before. Does anyone know what it is? We have many bulbs in this old yard that come out every year but never flower, they are mysterious, but maybe this year more of them will flower I posted it on pinterest since it allows for large file size uploads. pinterest.com/pin/363595369886090267/

I don't know what ever it was is gone now, either wilted or was eaten.
There is a new baby bunny in the yard! But just one. It some how ended up in our car port. I think a cat chased it. The parent rabbits are no where to be found. Anyways it's tiny, and soo scared, but getting a bit more brave as the day goes on. It is covered in fur, but I think it might have still been nursing it's mom or just started to eat greens. Anyways it hides under our garbage can, compost bin, and a clematis pot and old garden tiles. I thought it was probably hungry since it didn't eat all day so I went out and plucked some baby dandelion greens for it, as well as some nice grass. A few hours went by and the grass was still there but I noticed all of the dandelion greens were gone. So I decided to give the bunny a refill. I put another small portion of baby dandilion greens near the garbage can and waited. Within 10 minutes they were all gone from this very scared bunny. I think the bunny is starving. Then I went to refill the baby bunnies greens again this time being more generous with his/her portions. Within 2 minutes of laying out his greens half of them were gone. I think the bunny is rationing himself though because he only ate 1/2 of them. This time I actually watched him eat them from a window in the house.
Hopefully he stays safe and starts finding food on his own soon.

The baby bunny disappeared the next day. It either ran away or a cat got it. I hope the baby bunny found it's way home instead of being someones dinner..
