July 25 2010. WHut did I do today? Oh yeah, I gave the doggies a bath. I thought of my mum and I actually had a hard time seeing her face. Why is that? Her death anniversary wuz July 13 and I actually forgot! I think Pa probably went to the cemetery by himself, but he didnt tell us, so now, I feel GUILTY But Mum doesnt seem to be upset or she would haf come to me in my dreams & whacked me on the head wid a giant salami! Sorry, Mum! I cut flowers for your vase. But then, I always put flowers in her vase.

I don't think the dead really care about anniversaries of their death, as long as we remember them occasionally.
The anniversary of Alan's death was a couple of days ago. I forgot too. But I re-read the story of his death and remembered.

In Sum: Forty Tales From the Afterlives by David Eagleman, he mentions a traditional belief that says there are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function, the second is when the body is consigned to the grave, and the third, the most definitive death, is the last time someone speaks your name. Other versions say this last is when there is no-one left alive who remembers us. Good to see the PLitey Chronicles again, btw.

Boy, thats depressing! About the third death, I mean. Becuz that is going to happen to all of us eventually, no matter how many footmen I kick down the stairs or how many times I write about seances. WE WILL ALL BE AS DUSTS BENEATH OUR GLADIATOR SANDALS! Thats why we must all write our genealogies online so, at least, we are a twig in the Tree of Life.

I think if the dead care about their anniversaries . . . it would be a family member's birthday or a wedding anniversary or some special day that resonates even in their afterlife!

We went to the cemetery on my mums birthday -- we even had a cheerful lunch. We also went on Mothers Day and we usually go on ALL SOULS DAY, Nov. 1 becuz that is important in Philippine holidays. I also wish my mum a Merry Christmus by pasting a sparkly tinsul on her crypt.

They broke up. She wanted to live in France; Pigsnit didnt -- kaputch! goes the relationship. Cant say I blame him -- how could he bear to leave his adorable little heir behind?

Oh, that's such a shame. I was hoping she'd break the curse of the coffee mug.

France is pretty. I saw it on the Tour de France. It's like a fairy tale land. Why wouldn't Pigs want to live there?
