What's tapioca flour? What's black sugar?
I have noticed that all recipes contain at least one ingredient that no one has in their kitchen. What the heck?
Tonight I am making cannellini beans. Never made them before. I soaked them last night. I have also noticed something about organic food that I didn't know. In the world of organics you can only buy veggies when they are in season. Like, I can't find zucchini any more. That's because zucchini is a summer veggie and is no longer available. That's weird. I am used to having zucchini all year long. I guess that doesn't really happen in nature without man made scientific intervention. Huh. Who knew.

Maybe you should find something that taste like zucchini! Cucumber? A really large carrot? We haf brown sugar! Its Sugar thats Brown! I saw it in a canister in Mums kitchin. I expect its brown becuz the sugar farmer couldnt be bothered to paint it. My sugar probably hasnt been used in years though! Whut is sugar's life expectancy? Can I use 20 year old sugar? It didnt look rotten or anything. PS. Why do I haf to use sesame seeds? They dont haf any flavour, do they? And they get between ones toothies, which means I'd haf to brush harder.

If you can't maybe consider freezing some of your organic vegetables yourself. That way you can keep them for longer without them going bad. All you need to is prepare them (dice or whatever) and some ziplock bags/freezer bags.

Sugar doesn't usually go off unless it's in the mandibles of little brown ants on the way back to the nest in the skirting boards.

Yes, I did start my garden and it's doing well. I will make a video to show everyone soon. I had to work a double today so I couldn't do it this morning. So far I have planted Russet Potatoes, Garlic, Green Onions, Sugar Snap Peas, Baby Carrots, Turnips, Leeks, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Parsnip, Spinach, and Broccoli. In my next batch of plantings I have New Potatoes, Yukon Gold Potatoes, more Garlic, and Cannelini beans to plant. Every time I buy organic food I save a little to plant in my garden. I don't know if potatoes are a cold weather crop but I planted some anyway just because I had some. I should go research potatoes now. Oh, that reminds me of two things. I found a camera lens I want to buy and it's affordable. www.amazon.com/Nikon-35mm-AF-S-Digital-Cameras/dp/B001S2PPT0And the cannelini beans didn't turn out as tasty as I thought they would. However, my mom says they are still raw. Lol. Aren't beans supposed to be al dente? My mom says beans are supposed to be soft. Oops. Lol. How long do beans take to cook? They've already been cooking for 4 hours in the slow cooker. I put them back in for more cooking. Sheese. Someone needs to invent a slow cooker that cooks fast.

I dont like beans. Theyre ... Beany! Eeeek! Can you fry beans? I dont mean the refried bean dish in Mexicun restaurants, becuz theres nothing fried about them at all. STILL ... you must haf a Humongous Yard to plant all those veggies. Do you start wid seeds or cuttings? I can hardly wait for the viddy!

That's...an awful lot of potatoes! You realise that they proliferate exponentially, don't you? Make sure after harvesting, that you store them in a cool, dark place, like a sack in a basement...

I am going to store them in the ground where they live. ;D With potatoes I don't have to harvest them till I want to eat them right? Cause they'll just keep growing if I don't. That's my theory. Dunno. Another thing I have noticed about veggies is that root vegetables don't spoil as fast as other veggies. Potatoes and onions keep forever. I need lots of potatoes and beans to make it through the end of days when the food shortages start. Potatoes are chock-a-block with vitamins and beans are full of protein. Speaking of the end of days, New Zealand, (What happened to Old Zealand?), says Peak Oil will be here in 2012. Perfect timing for when the black hearted oily Republicans take back the White House. Then all our money and stuffs will go to the evil oil companies and we will attack Iraq and anyone else who has oil. I really liked Obama's plan to go green but that's not going to happen anymore, at least not from him. I wish he hadn't been such a pansy and lost the White House. Looks like the people have to save the Earth themselves. But will we? Which reminds me, here's a writing contest that's right up your alley Avrils. io9.com/5681230/io9s-environmental-writing-contest Write a 3000 - 5000 word story about something green to enter.
